Job Description - Senior Staff Nurse (Night shift)

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We the RecruitNet team are hiring a Senior Staff Nurse (Night shift) for a leading Nursing home in cork, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met with professionalism and empathy.

Working collaboratively with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on person-centred care.

Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards challenges and opportunities in dementia care.

Requirements

Must have prior experience working as a nurse in Ireland and possess a current NMBI PIN.

Assist the Director of Care and Clinical Nurse Manager with daily resident care coordination and team leadership.

Provide care staff direction and mentoring while upholding the highest standards of person-centered care.

Make sure that interdisciplinary teams collaborate and communicate professionally.

Assume responsibility for correctly and promptly reporting any changes in the conditions of the residents.

Help with staff allocation planning and making sure shift handovers are done well.

Take part in yearly evaluations, return-to-work interviews, inductions, and staff training.

Encourage collaboration, drive, and a happy workplace while adhering to HIQA guidelines.
