Service Engineer (Catering)-Cork

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Engineer (Catering) to join our team in the Munster Region. As a Catering Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of catering equipment used in commercial kitchens, restaurants, hotels, and other catering establishments.

Role and Responsibilities:

Install and commission catering equipment including ovens, grills, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other related appliances.

Ensure proper setup and calibration of equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for catering equipment to minimize downtime and prevent unexpected failures.

*

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with catering equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems.

*

Perform repairs or replacements of faulty components, parts, or systems to restore equipment functionality promptly.

*

Provide technical assistance and guidance to clients regarding the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of catering equipment.

Maintain positive relationships with clients by delivering prompt and professional service.

Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous and timely manner, striving to exceed their expectations.

Ideal Candidate:

Must be an Electrician or RGI Plumber.

*

Proven experience as a Service Engineer or Technician in the catering sector, with a strong background in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.

*

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues related to catering equipment.

*

Sound knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to catering equipment installation and maintenance.

*

Technical certifications or qualifications in relevant fields such as electrical engineering, HVAC, or refrigeration would be advantageous.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed
