Our client is seeking to recruit a Site Project Manager for projects in the midlands/Galway region. They are a well-established contractor and are currently working on several large multi-million energy upgrade projects. They are looking to recruit an ambitious, career-minded individual that has worked in a similar role previously (Site Manager or Site Project Manager).
The responsibilities and requirements will include:
- 10 years’ experience in site construction
- Previous experience of working on building or energy upgrade projects.
- Diploma or Degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar.
- Candidates with either an engineering or trades background will be considered.
- You will need to have experience in coordination of subcontractors, control programme with preparation of look-ahead programmes to facilitate the successful completion of the works on time.
- You must be experienced and fully computer-literate and have proven experience in preparation of progress reports, chairing site meetings.
- Ability to communicate with Client, Architects, Engineers, is essential.
- Be fully familiar with current Health and Safety Construction regulations.
- Immediate start – full time permanent position based in the west of Ireland
- Ability to work well within a team environment and within a strict deadline environment.
- Assist with requirements in relation to site preparations & associated consultations and design issues.
- Purchasing
- Programming
- Preparing project plans
- Attending site meetings
- Responsible for health and safety on site
