Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead our Options Trading Development Team. This pivotal role will involve managing a team of talented software engineers who are dedicated to developing and enhancing our trading systems using .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the trading industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of options trading systems.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, code quality, and system performance.
• Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning within the development team.
• Ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of trading systems.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our systems at the forefront of the trading landscape.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a software engineering leadership role, preferably within the trading or financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
• Experience with trading systems, particularly in options trading, is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
