The Opportunity: 

As a Solar Service Technician you will produce bespoke solar PV designs for domestic homes and complete and submit technical reports regarding each installation. 

Responsibilities Include:  

• Responsible for evaluating technical suitability of materials and equipment. 


• Interpret site photographs, field surveyor notes, and satellite imagery to remotely assess properties for solar PV system suitability. 

• Develop material schedules and take-offs from drawings. 

• Diagnose and resolve technical problems for our solar installations. 


• Generate or refine roof and ground mount layout drawings based on remote assessments. 

• Manage solar preventive maintenance (O&M) customer relationships. 

• Offering a high level of technical support to all customers 

• Oversee RMA handling, including detailed recordkeeping, inbound/outbound tracking of RMA equipment. 

Requirements: 

• Prior solar PV and/or electrical & Plumbing experience an advantage. 

• Previous administrative experience within a construction or electrical company. 

• Solid technical and financial acumen. 

• Knowledge of Irish building regulations would be an advantage also. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule efficiently. 

• Physical fitness and comfort with working at heights (training will be provided if necessary). 

• Proactive problem-solving mindset.
