Role Overview
As a Senior Beauty & Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the spa, maintaining high treatment standards, and supporting the wider team. You will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering a professional and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering High-Quality Treatments
Provide a range of beauty and massage treatments to the highest professional standard, ensuring clients receive an exceptional and personalized experience.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and techniques to continuously improve treatment offerings.
Offer expert product and treatment recommendations to enhance client satisfaction and support retail sales.
Spa Operations & Best Practices
Ensure the spa operates efficiently and effectively, implementing best practices to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Monitor and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the spa, ensuring all areas are properly maintained at all times.
Conduct daily checks to ensure all cleaning protocols are followed and completed, with appropriate records signed off.
Ensure treatment rooms are consistently kept clean, stocked, and prepared for each client.
Stock & Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels of professional and retail products, ensuring timely ordering to prevent shortages.
Maintain an organized stockroom and ensure products are stored and handled correctly.
Conduct regular stock checks and liaise with management to optimize inventory control.
Booking & Scheduling Management
Oversee the Phorest booking system, ensuring all appointments are managed efficiently and without conflicts.
Work closely with the reception team to optimize scheduling, ensuring smooth appointment flow and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Address and resolve any scheduling issues or client concerns related to bookings
Training & Team Development
Provide ongoing training, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring they develop their skills and confidence.
Conduct treatment demonstrations and refresher training sessions to maintain consistency in service quality.
Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
Team Leadership & Support
Lead by example, fostering a positive and professional atmosphere within the spa team.
Assist in resolving minor staff issues within the team, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Support the management team in maintaining team morale and motivation.
Ensuring Compliance & Standards
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring treatments are performed safely and professionally.
Ensure all therapists follow company protocols, procedures, and standards of conduct.
Regularly review treatment procedures and operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
