Job Description - Staff Nurse - Endoscopy

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are hiring an Staff Nurse - Endoscopy for a Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring, and compassion are central to all we do.

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Endoscopy Staff Nurse is to deliver comprehensive nursing services throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases of patient care within the Endoscopy Unit.

This role involves the management, care, and treatment of elective patients, ensuring that the highest standards of care are consistently upheld.

The Endoscopy Staff Nurse will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and supportive environment for patients, while collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance the overall quality of care provided in the unit.

Collaborating effectively with colleagues throughout the hospital is essential to ensure a seamless delivery of services to our patients.

It is imperative to communicate clearly and appropriately with fellow team members and other healthcare professionals.

Adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as well as the hospital's policies, procedures, and standards is crucial in maintaining the highest level of care.

Requirements

Registered in the general division of NMBI

Evidence of personal professional development

Must have at least 1-year post registration experience in an acute hospital in an Endoscopy Unit/Theatre as a staff nurse.

Demonstrates knowledge of Endoscopic Procedures and Decontamination process
