Job Description - Staff Nurse - Endoscopy

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are hiring Staff Nurse-Endoscopy to our Hospital in Galway, Ireland. (37.5 hours per week Permanent Contract)

Responsibilities

Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification or equivalent nursing qualification.

Current registration with the relevant nursing regulatory body (e.g., NMBI or NMC).

Competent in delivering comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Experience in administering medications, including IV drugs, blood products, and controlled drugs, in accordance with policies.

Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices and adherence to hospital policies and best practice guidelines.

Requirements

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering a high-quality service.

Personally and professionally accountable for the delivery of patient care.

Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.

Current NMBI registration (or eligibility for registration).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Flexible approach to work patterns, including rotation across day shifts.

Previous nursing experience in Endoscopy/Flexible Cystoscopy procedures is desirable.

Must be registered, or eligible for registration, in the General Nurse Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

Post-registration nursing experience is essential, preferably in surgical areas.
