Job Description - Staff Nurse - PACU





RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.








 We are hiring a Staff Nurse -PACU to a Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.







 Key Responsibilities








  • Take part in giving immediate post-operative patients with physical and psychological care as a recovery room nurse.



  • Observe the professional standards established by the NMBI Code of Conduct for Nurses.



  • As required by hospital policy, keep up-to-date nursing, theater, and recovery records.



  • Work together with the theater staff to deliver high-quality nursing care.



  • Participate in continuing education and keep your own expertise current.



  • Recognize the potential electrical, chemical, and transportation hazards in the theater and recovery room department and take protective action.



  • Keep an eye on the equipment's safe maintenance and report any issues to the clinical coordinator or her designee.



  • Encourage a learning atmosphere for the benefit of the theater and recovery room workers.







Requirements




  • NMBI license for registered general nurses.



  • Five years or more of recent, relevant post-registration experience working in an acute hospital.



  • A bachelor's degree in nursing is required.



  • A postgraduate course is preferred.



  • Show that you have mentorship or preceptorship experience.



  • Possess shown clinical and managerial skills.



  • The candidate should ideally have expertise with presentations, basic IT skills, and a teaching and assessment course.



  • Be devoted to your pre- and post-registration nursing education.



  • Give an example of how to teach in the clinical setting.



  • Show that your professional improvement is ongoing.
