We are hiring Staff Nurse âTheatre Department-Anaesthetic/PACU to our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Location: On-site / Dublin, Ireland

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time / 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

To work as a member of a team of nurses in the Hospital theatre department providing high-quality, patientcare care for patients and their families.

To develop and maintain good relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and to work closely with nursing colleagues to develop innovative practices within the unit delivering evidence-based care.

The theatre nurse will be expected to assist in a wide range of specialties (e.g. PACU, Anaesthetic).

To develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relating to his or her clinical area.

Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure good team spirit and collaborative working practices.

Support the theatre manager by meeting agreed responsibilities as set out by the theatre manager or the chief nursing officer at any time.

Identify and discuss nursing and patient needs with consultants and the nursing team, multidisciplinary team, patients, and carers.

Requirements

Current registration on the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland register with a valid NMBI PIN.

A minimum of 1 year of post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.

Previous Theatre Anaesthetic nursing experience gained in Ireland or the UK.

Demonstrated clinical competence and professional nursing practice.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing service needs.

Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Completion of an Advanced Life Support (ALS) course/certification
