Job Description - Staff Nurse-Gynecology

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Staff Nurse-Gynecology to a Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

Assist our gynecologists throughout every patient visit.

Help transport samples for histology, microbiology, and cytology as well as transvaginal scanning.

Help consultants with internal operations, such as Mirena insertion, pessary insertion and removal, and "side room" gynecological procedures.

Follow the doctor's orders for every patient you are given; give prescription drugs and treatments in a safe and appropriate manner.

Oversee the triage and gynecological phone calls from our department's patients.

When necessary, communicate with consultants and have appropriate conversations with patients about medical management.

In the absence of the nurse manager, the department receives referral letters every day, which are sorted by appointment urgency.

Keep track of and react suitably to communications sent by the Women's Center's administrative staff to its patients.

Requirements

In good standing is the NMBI Registered General Nurse license.

Three years of nursing experience are necessary.

Experience in surgical nursing is preferred.

Desired gynecological experience

Exhibit the capacity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Exhibit drive and a creative approach to your nursing role.
