ROLE
To maximize sales and profit through the effective stock management, completion of all branch administration and management and motivation of stock and administration team, whilst promoting and exceeding our internal service standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
STOCK MANAGEMENT
Responsible for the completion of all customer orders, working to a demanding deadline of a 24hr turnaround. Managing / delegating to stock admin teams for support
Booking daily collections along with liaising with Divisional Ops manager with regards to arranging all external couriers and overcoming any logistical issues
Support in overseeing efficient operation of the stockroom, including swift and accurate
sales floor replenishment
Working with the Divisional Operations manager to ensure the accuracy of the in store stock management system at all times, oversee the in-transit system ensuring all transfers are complete, accurate and within agreed time scales meeting company KPI’s. Daily liaison with the Warehouse and Merchandising to monitor incoming and outgoing stock
Ensure all processes and paperwork are completed accurately.
Report any delivery discrepancies to the Warehouse, Stock Audit and Operations manager so these can be investigated
Complete stock spot checks to help ensure that the REX stock file is accurate, investigating and reporting identified issues to Stock Audit and Divisional Operations Manager.
Assist in the overall stock-take process (Operations Manager organises stock take and Stock
Manager manages the processes), ensuring stock take result falls within Company target
of +/- 0.3%
Maintain and develop host store relationships in support of all logistical process.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Monitor service levels of the stock team to ensure the our service proposition is delivered to all internal customers
Monitor all shipments and dispatch queries
STAFF MANAGEMENT
Complete staffing rotas for stock team which reflect the needs of the business
Authorise Holidays, Breaks and shift times keeping in mind business objectives
Complete all HR paperwork for new starters, RTW interviews, staff reviews, lateness forms and follow up investigations where needed for the stock team
Recruit temps to support business at sale time
Provide training for all new temporary and permanent members of the stock team
SECURITY COMPLIANCE
Ensure stock security procedures are strictly followed and any security issues are dealt with immediately reporting any issues to the General Manager.
COMMUNICATION
Actively liaise, communicate and develop good working relationships with all Senior Manager’, Head Office personnel and Host Store Management at all times.
Undertake any other reasonable responsibilities, tasks and directions within the scope of the role
HEALTH & SAFETY
Monitor compliance to Health and Safety procedures within the stock room, reporting non-compliance to GM
Monitor and suggest improvements to current Health and Safety practices, developing team in all areas of safe working within the stockroom
Requirements
Demonstrate a commercial mind set and outlook to stay responsive to all operational needs.
Providing the close link between shop floor behaviors / sales promise and all BOH operations whilst keeping within the Kurt Geiger DNA
Always available to both customers and team- managing their expectations.
Suggest ideas of ways to improve certain procedures that service the shop floor
Actively drive own development by seeking new learning opportunities
Influence peers and senior management to create service lead culture.
