Tax Manager

ID Recruitment are working with Irelands fastest growing Financial services firm to recruit a Tax Manager for their growing office in Galway.

This role will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of international and domestic tax clients and as a growing firm it will offer career progression opportunities within a supportive and experienced Tax team.

The role will also have a lot of flexibility with Hybrid working arrangements and offers a competitive remuneration package.

Key responsibilities include;

As a manager in the Tax Team, you will be actively involved with clients and solving complex business issues. This flexible hybrid role will include responsibilities such as:

• Advice in relation to tax planning and restructuring for a broad portfolio of international and large Irish domestic clients on a broad range of issues.
  


• Manager a portfolio of clients with reporting to Partners.
  


• Actively engage in developing new business relationships and opportunities with new and existing clients.
  


• Lead in the development of solutions to complex technical challenges;
  


• Train, support and mentor team member as well as assist with the growth of the wider business.
  

Requirements

Skills, attributes and experience required;

• AITI/CTA qualified (or equivalent);
  


• 5+ years taxation experience;
  


• Be experienced at managing direct reports, projects and deadlines;
  


• Previous client facing and development experience,
  


• Be an enthusiastic self-starter who likes to work in a team environment;
  


• Strong technical knowledge and skills,
  


• Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
