Tax Manager

A newly created opportunity has arisen for a pragmatic and ambitious tax manager to join a well established Irish group who are in a transformative stage undergoing substantial growth. As a result of their future growth plans, an in-house tax advisor is required to join the team.

A broad tax role covering all aspects of tax within an international organisation, this is a great opportunity to be close to the business and advise on tax issues from a commercial perspective.

About the position

• Oversee the compliance matters across the groups European operations across all major tax heads including CT, indirect taxes and payroll
• Advising on tax structuring and tax planning strategies with a particular focus on new market entry
• Advising on global mobility and employment tax matters for the group
• Coordinate TP master and local file preparation (by advisors) along with benchmarking and related reports for all relevant jurisdictions on an annual basis
• Relationship management with key tax advisors in each jurisdiction and centrally
• Ensure all key stakeholders are kept up to speed with changes in tax regulations and legislation which will likely impact the business

About the person

• An experienced tax manager with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and communicate financial / tax information, and implications thereof, to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience in industry a preference
• Comfortable taking on the 1st tax position within a growing organisation
