The Technician, Production Operations (Grade 4) position is responsible for setting up and operating automatic and semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.

This position reports to the productions Co-Ordinator, Production Operations and is part of the Operations department located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan mills, Co Clare and will be an on-site role.

You will be a part of the production operations team and report to the Advanced Co-Ordinator, productions operations. If you thrive in a fast paced role with a supportive team and want to work to build a world-class production organization—read on.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Operate equipment when training has been completed.

  • Compliance with cleaning procedure for equipment and machinery.

  • Filling and/or labelling and/or packing of products as per Training plan.

  • Kit/Vial Inspection as required.

  • Comply with high standards in quality system controls in the production process.

 

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent

Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and handle materials up to 20–25 kg in line with safety guidelines.

  • Operators work in both cleanroom and manufacturing environments, requiring adherence to PPE and contamination control standards.

  • The role involves working with automated production lines, following strict procedures, and responding to equipment conditions.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • A Manufacturing role

  • Knowledge and experience of GMP in a highly regulated manufacturing work environment.

  • Working as part of a team using problem solving tools in a manufacturing work environment.

Working Hours (Swing Shift):

  • Week 1: You will work from 8.00am to 4.00pm daily, Monday through Thursday and 8.00am – 3.00pm on Friday.

  • Week 2: You will work from 4.00pm to 12.00am Monday through Thursday and 3.00pm -10.00pm Friday.
