Job Description - Trainee Accountant

We are seeking a trainee accountant to join a growing finance team, based in Dublin City Centre.

This role represents an excellent entry point for an accounting graduate or someone early in their career seeking to build a strong and well -rounded foundation in finance. The position offers broad exposure across core accounting functions, and the opportunity to develop both technical and commercial skills within a professional finance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process supplier invoices and support the accounts payable function.
Maintaining rent schedules for residential properties.
Prepare and maintain accurate bank and account reconciliations.
Weekly payroll operations.

Key Requirements:

1 year’s experience in an accounting or finance support role.
Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage experience an advantage).
