The opportunity: 

Join our team as a Cut and Crease Machine Operator and immerse yourself in the rhythm of machinery in a bustling, fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is perfect for those with a mechanical background and a passion for machinery. Your key responsibilities will include operating machinery safely and efficiently, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and adapting to changing production schedules. We value a can-do attitude, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. How you will impact WestRock:  

Achieve daily/weekly production targets.

Maximise machine efficiency.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in production.

Log and record duties performed in “Shop Floor, Data Collection” (SFDC)

To assist in the maintenance of all machinery and equipment in line with established planned maintenance programmes.

What you need to succeed : 

Ability to take responsibility for own work and actions.

Flexible to work to established shift patterns including nightshift.

A desire to learn about good manufacturing practice.

A good eye for detail.

Must be I.T. literate and have a basic understanding of Microsoft packages.

Willing to learn new skills and participate in training.
