TV/AV Buyer

Omnicom Media Group is looking for an enthusiastic, bright, and energetic buyer to join our AV Dept.

The role of the TV/AV Buyer is broad and varied requiring multiple skill sets. The candidate must have strong problem-solving skills, be curious about an ever-changing media landscape and have a creative approach to work, while at the same time having strong attention to detail and numeracy skills. The ability to flourish in a results-driven role is a must.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: Booking and maintaining a broad and varied client portfolio of TV airtime across multiple channels, as part of a dynamic team.
Working with an AV team in the booking and monitoring of video campaigns across premium broadcaster VOD platforms.
Nurturing best-in-class campaigns. Assisting at the planning stage (as much as required), through to post-campaign analysis.
Understanding the nuances of the TV/AV market: channel performance, market inflation, how the nature of Video consumption is evolving
Tracking and reporting results to an internal accountability team as well as assisting on international requests and templates
Assisting and engaging with external media auditors when necessary
Providing guidance through opinion, insights, and learnings for fellow TV/AV buying and planning team members

Requirements

Experience Previous experience in a media agency would be an advantage but not a requirement. We’re looking for someone highly organised, with a hunger to learn who can hit the ground running. Training will be provided but proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is a must.
