Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting, finishing, or delivery by performing cleaning, sanding, masking, and minor bodywork as required.
• Inspect vehicles for defects and ensure all surfaces are properly prepped and ready for the next stage in the process.
• Assist in polishing, buffing, and finishing painted surfaces to meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area and tools.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with painters, mechanics, and other team members to ensure timely completion of vehicle preparation tasks.
• Record work completed and report any issues or damages found during preparation.

• Proven experience in vehicle preparation, body shop, or automotive finishing roles.
• Basic knowledge of automotive painting and finishing processes.
• Ability to use sanding tools, masking materials, and cleaning equipment effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Good communication skills.
