Full-time, permanent role of Veterinary Nurse in our Athy practice
Suitable for new graduate veterinary nurses joining the register in 2024
40 hours/5 days per week with 1 in 4 Saturdays (day off in lieu for any Saturday worked)
No OOH or on call work
Salary is €28,000 to €30,500 commensurate with experience
Full support and training supplied with the IVC Evidensia Nurse Academy

Our 100% Small animal practice in Athy is a busy, first opinion referral centre located in Kildare.
At Vet Care you can expect individualised, state-of-the-art medical care for our patients. We keep our practice up to date with all the latest equipment necessary to offer our high standards of service including digital radiography, ultrasound and a fully equipped laboratory with comprehensive blood and urine analysis. Our sister branches are in Carlow, Laois and Dublin. We offer a wide range of referral services including Orthopaedics, Ultrasound (both cardiac and abdominal), and Soft Tissue Surgery.
Our Athy branch is located on the outer skirts of Athy, close to the Dublin-Waterford railway line, and the M9 motorway. Our closeknit team is made of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Veterinary Nurses, 2 receptionists and 2 groomers.
