We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Senior Syndicated Loan Specialist I to join our Corporate Trust Operations team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland - hybrid working. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Responsible for administering and servicing a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral loans Manage daily administration of loan activities, to include facilitating loan advances, payments rate pricing, and fees. Ensure that risks are appropriately identified and actively managed Manage complex external escalations resolving operational issues as appropriate Serve as point of contact for complex escalations, operational and technical issues, and ensuring proper resolution Ability to read and interpret commercial loan agreements and documents, as necessary. Assist in communicating needs and issues with internal teams and external clients. Resolve complex issues based on an understanding and knowledge of the intricacies of the loan system. Use in-depth area knowledge to apply ingenuity and creativity to common repeat problems and determines more permanent resolutions. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Preferably degree education and/or industry qualifications 5-7 years of directly related experience with syndicated loans and/or comparable commercial banking experience Experience with Loan IQ and ClearPar strongly preferred Prior experience acting as a subject matter expert and coordinating the work of others. Ability to lead, provide guidance and work under limited supervision Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
