Requirements:
NASL Scripting Proficiency:
- Demonstrated ability to write NASL (Nessus Attack Scripting Language) scripts.
- Proficient in the language used for NASL scripting.
Experience or Competence:
- Preferable experience in NASL scripting.
- Strong competence in the language used for NASL scripting.
Specific Experience with OpenVAS or Greenbone:
- 5+ years of direct experience in writing NASL scripts for OpenVAS or Greenbone is highly desired.
- Familiarity with the tools and frameworks associated with OpenVAS or Greenbone.
Networking Concepts:
- Solid understanding of fundamental networking concepts.
- Knowledge of subnetting and its application in network configurations.
Routing Knowledge:
- Proficient understanding of routing protocols and configurations.
Listening Ports:
- Familiarity with listening ports and their significance in network communication.
Firewall Expertise:
- Understanding of firewall configurations and their impact on network security.
Sockets Understanding:
- Knowledge of sockets and their role in facilitating communication between different processes.
TCP/IP Understanding:
- 5+ years of direct experience in TCP/IP protocol suite and an in-depth knowledge of its application in networking.
Optional Development Skills:
C# Development:
- Optional proficiency in C# programming language.
- Ability to develop applications and scripts using C#.
Angular and Related Frameworks:
- Optional proficiency in Angular and related front-end frameworks.
- Ability to develop user interfaces and applications using Angular.
Additional Considerations:
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a team and individually.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with evolving technologies.
- Documentation skills to maintain clear and comprehensive script documentation.
Note: The language used for NASL scripting may vary, and the developer should be adaptable to different scripting languages relevant to NASL.
