Warehouse Administrator/Operator

Target & Purpose of the Position:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Operator/Administrator will play a crucial role in the Warehouse function within our Gorey team at Signode. As part of the Supply Chain team, you will play a key role working alongside our Sales, Commercial and Operations functions to ensure the optimal management of supply from sources to customers.

Content of position:

·        Shipment and load processing as material is available for distribution.

·        Load planning on groupage shipments.

·        Ensure visitors are recorded for Health & Safety reasons.

·        Booking of transportation in accordance with carrier agreements and pricing

·        Preparation of all necessary documents for shipping such as packaging slip, B/L, labels etc.

·         Responsible for the movement of finished goods to external warehouses.

·         Inventory movement through management and stock control

·         Retain records of all Raw materials delivered for invoice processing.

·         Be responsible for housekeeping & Safety standards in the warehouse and report any issues that arise.

·        Support the Warehouse Manager where required with other duties or tasks including purchasing.

·        Research for continuous improvement, shipping, packaging & materials.

·        Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

·        Forklift license and experience

·        Proficient in the use of Microsoft word / excel

·        Experience of continuous improvement
