About the role
You will be responsible for:
Responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods from trucks, containers, or storage areas, ensuring all products are handled with care and documented correctly.
Load and unload materials, products, and equipment from trucks, containers, and trailers
Ensure proper stacking, securing, and placement of goods to prevent damage during transport
Follow safety procedures and protocols during loading/unloading operations.
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and report damages or shortages and operate loading equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, Experienced with driving PPT.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading/unloading areas and assist in inventory checks, labelling, and packaging if needed.
Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
About you
Ability to read, understand and follow instructions & work procedures be health & safety aware.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines & targets.
MHE licences including reach and counterbalance forklift (desirable, not essential)
An understanding of warehousing operations
