The Role

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Wedding Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role is all about converting leads into confirmed bookings, maximising revenue opportunities, and being the first impression of our wedding offering. Your key success metric is sales performance, driving occupancy, increasing spend, and growing our reputation as the venue of choice for weddings.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Conversion

• Serve as the first point of contact for all wedding enquiries, providing prompt, professional, and enthusiastic responses.

• Proactively follow up with leads, conduct venue showarounds, and convert interest into confirmed bookings.

• Present and upsell wedding packages, enhancements, and tailored experiences to maximise revenue per event.

• Achieve monthly and annual wedding sales targets and KPIs.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline progress, and bookings using the hotel’s CRM system.

Client Engagement

• Build relationships quickly with potential clients, understanding their needs and vision.

• Confidently promote the Riverside Park Hotel as the ideal wedding venue, emphasising its unique features and benefits.

• Provide expert guidance on packages, pricing, and seasonal offerings, ensuring clients feel supported and excited.

• Liaise with internal departments to check availability, package options, and feasibility during the sales process.

Handover & Internal Coordination

• Meet and greet all wedding Couples during the event phase and ensure the smooth handover of the event to the operations team.

• Ensure all booking details and client preferences are documented clearly for flawless execution.

Marketing & Business Development

• Work closely with the marketing team to drive lead generation through campaigns, open days, wedding fairs, and online platforms.

• Monitor competitors and industry trends to refine our offering and stay competitive.

• Develop strong relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and wedding planners to generate referrals and partnerships.

Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience in wedding or event coordination, hospitality, or a related customer-facing role.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Strong sales ability with a passion for hitting targets while maintaining quality service.

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.

A calm, reassuring presence in high-pressure or emotional situations.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
