Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily yard operations ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.


• Manage stock levels, ensuring availability of products and materials.


• Oversee yard staff, providing training and support as necessary.


• Ensure safe operation of all yard equipment, including forklifts.


• Assist customers with queries and provide expert product knowledge.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard.


• Implement safety regulations and protocols to promote a safe working environment.


• Collaborate with management to optimize operational processes.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisor role in a yard or operational environment.


• Proven experience in stock management and handling hardware products.


• Certified forklift operator with hands-on experience.


• Strong communication and leadership skills.


• Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.

Desired Experience:

• Experience within a hardware retailer or similar environment.


• Background in yard work and physical labour.
