      This is fantastic opportunity to lead the trade marketing strategy for high end brands in the White Goods Sector and to be the voice of the consumer in the development of the overall brand strategy.
      Reporting into the Head of Marketing, this role has responsibility towards building and enhancing the customer experience journey while supporting their retailers positioning and ambitions as a global brand.
      This person is an important member of not just the marketing team, working closely with the category & sales teams to develop and drive the integrated trade marketing agenda against key KPIs, and to manage multiple consumer brand touch points.

      The ideal candidate will be passionate, a true collaborator, commercially driven and a brand lover!

      The Role: 

      • Owning and developing the annual Trade marketing plan and budget, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy. Manage budgets for areas of control, and optimize & adapt as needed.
      • Working closely with sales & category to ensure insights as well as customer insights translates into best in class campaigns that establish our brands as the shopper expert with our key customers.
      • Maintain & update commercial with relevant stakeholders on an on-going basis, overlaying Shopper / digital activation to ensure synergy between the two.
      • Set clear KPIs and measure all activity performance from a ROI perspective, making recommendations for continuous improvement to drive conversion to support P&L
      • Staying abreast of all new developments within the shopper and trade marketing arena, suggesting and trialling new ways to enhance the consumer experience journey and drive penetration of our brands.
      • Be responsible for all channel led activation plans including include core brand and trade marketing activity as well as priority new launches
      • Collaborate with third party sales and internal commercial teams to identify required POS quantities, formats and templates by customer and campaign. Seeing through to delivery / activation of POS in stores
      • Own the relationship with Trade marketing stakeholders in UK
      • Working cross-functionally will be key to the success of this role including UK and the wider Commercial Team
      • Assume all activation’s have digital elements. You will plan and execute integrated digital activity hand in hand with in-store
      • Managing external agencies ensuring quality briefs are provided in a timely manner, along with internal approval requirements
      • Creation of print tenders based on POS campaign requirements and comparison of printer responses vs budget and quality targets.
      • Utilise agreed brand campaign toolkits and successfully manage 3P agencies to deliver optimum & disruptive POS creative to appointed printers within deadlines
      • Listen and develop a deep understanding of local consumers and generate new insights
      • Work closely with the brand manager & UK trade marketing team to define the brand trade marketing strategy execution
      • Take ownership and responsibility for all launches and develop the right plan to achieve objectives.
      • Be involved at senior level with retailers to influence commercial strategy and drive trade marketing initiatives to maximise brands plan with customers.
      • Create compelling in store theatre that result in consumers switching to our brand portfolio.
      • Deliver information/ materials and POS on time to maximize all brand plans & development
      • Drive and follow promo plan and portfolio management
      • Activate local ideas when appropriate to drive more customers facing
      • Work closely with the commercial team to deliver on budgets
      • Work closely with PR to maximise all opportunities for your brand
      • Take a lead to develop category relationships with key retailers working with the wide team.
      • Use appropriate data to fully understand your different categories and your customers. Work closely with category & commercial teams to drive a vision for your common categories.
      • Coach an intern or a graduate trainee

      The Candidate: 

      • University Degree in business, marketing or related discipline with minimum 5 years of experience in a trade/shopper marketing function
      • Strong communication, collaboration and team working skills are a must
      • Social media and digital experience
      • Experience in leading teams to achieve strong results
      • Previous knowledge of local retail dynamics and the retail environment
      • Strong organisational skills
      • Integrated-communication campaign planning- Proven campaign delivery and success against KPIs
      • Ability to work in an ever changing & demanding environment
      • Highly organised with prioritisation skills and strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent presentation skills
      • Good understanding of Media planning
      • Category Management expertise
      • Stakeholder Management is key, and agency management experience is preferred
      • Strong commercial acumen
      • Flexible approach to working. Willingness to travel frequently to build up partnerships & networking
      • Results focused- Achieves results through optimal approaches. Plans, organises and prioritises resources and activities. Develops self.
      • Vision and strategic planning- Takes a strategic view of the business to construct and implement an effective vision for the Company.
      • Develops and implements new and unique solutions to improve products and processes and create competitive advantage
