We have a rare gem of a role for a highly experienced hotelier / hospitality GM who would like to achieve a better work-life balance while still actively engaging in the hospitality world. This is a highly lauded golf club with recently renovated facilities offering elegant F&B, meeting and retail options for members.

The General Manager is responsible for providing a welcoming and memorable experience for all members and guests, ensuring smooth delivery of all guest services while also maintaining financial and administrative duties. Key areas of responsibility include:

• Staff Management
• Food & Beverage Operations
• Facilities Management
• Marketing & Communications
• Commercial & Finance

The ideal candidate will have a Business Management degree / Golf Club Management qualification and will be a seasoned hospitality operations expert with at least five years’ experience as General Manager / Operations Manager (or similar role) within a quality hotel, golf / members’ club or hospitality venue. Key candidate attributes include:

• Proven track record as leader and business manager
• Deep commitment to delivering an excellent guest experience and genuine welcome that represents the club’s inclusive culture
• Sound commercial judgement with an understanding of finance, corporate governance, operations and sales & marketing
• Driven, results-oriented attitude with sound change management skills
• CAPEX experience an advantage
