IT Business Analyst

This role reports to the IT Wholesale Projects Team Manager for a 12-month period. The successful applicant will assist the Manager and the Projects Team in the implementation of IT Business solutions and support daily business.

Emphasis will be focused in BWG’s Accord Systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM application, but also working within the Wholesale and Foodservice divisions delivering on-going enhancements to the application suite across all business divisions, Value Centres, BWG Head Office and Central Billing.

IT expertise is not a full requirement (i.e. qualifications) but a good understanding of internal systems would be an advantage. It is an exciting opportunity to experience the IT function and learn new skills for a 12-month period. This is an office based role located at BWG's head office in Tallaght, Dublin.

Duties include:

• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver user friendly and effective applications.
• Learning the applications and systems to Super User Level.
• IT Lead for BWG Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM application
• Testing software updates for the Head Office and Wholesale Division operating systems.
• Capture user requirements through meetings and workshops.
• Produce training documentation to support users of the applications.
• Delivering training and support to users of the applications.
• Assisting Project Team with implementations of new processes /procedures etc.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues/errors etc.
• Adhering to policies regarding project management.

Candidate Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience in Retail or Wholesale Industries.
• Knowledge of warehouse software, systems and processes and or knowledge of BWG’s BCP system a key advantage.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Accord.
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively impart information verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Full Driver’s Licence required.
• Multi-tasker with “can do” attitude.
