Exciting Opportunity: Site Manager - Ireland/Site oriented (FTC)
ENGIE is a global leader in low-carbon energy supply and services. We have been active in the UK energy market for over 20 years, and our investments in energy infrastructure are focused on energy storage and renewable energy (solar, wind, biogas), while supplying energy to organizations of all sizes.
Our project is to build six utility scale ground mounted solar PV projects across the centre of Ireland. The projects are located in Kilkenny, Limerick, Galway and Offaly. They are currently under development with secured grid connection and planning and were successful in securing support through the Renewable Energy Support Scheme (RESS3). In addition to these six sites ENGIE have a pipeline of development projects in Ireland.
ENGIE are recruiting for a Site Manager based in Ireland - Site oriented . This is a Fixed Term Contract role, working full time Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince II, MBA) is an advantage
Degree in Engineering. Alternatively, equivalent education (technical institute) provided it is accompanied by proven experience of several years in the role.
Understanding of EPC, FIDIC (or equivalent) structures
Basic technical knowledge of PV Solar technology and corresponding equipment, and ideally operational
maintenance requirements;
Construction site experience carried out in the renewable energy sector
