You will work with the Retail Finance team to support our Retail Partners with all financial aspects of their business. The role responsibilities include the following but not limited to:

• Managing Musgrave’s financial risk opposite our Retail Partners whilst work closely with our Retail Partners advising, coaching and mentoring them on all financial related aspects of their business.
• Management of store churns and store acquisitions on behalf of Musgrave and individual retailers. This involves the preparation of business cases, the securing of finance and project management of the process.
• Working occasionally with the Business Development Team in the assessment and preparation of new business cases and attendance at RBD Forum.
• Preparing, presenting and supporting proposals to the Musgrave Credit Committee. This is aimed at protecting MRPI sales whilst working with the retailer, the financing bank and other key stakeholders towards generating a fair solution for all parties.
• Supporting the Credit Manager in the governance of Musgrave Retail Partners Ireland financial risk. In certain cases, this will involve negotiating and securing appropriate legal documentation to ensure Musgrave’s security is maximized.
• Management of client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience. A general business qualification would be an advantage.
• The ideal candidate will be highly numeric & analytical.
• A strong systems orientation including advanced excel skills and pro-clarity skills.
• Good communication & inter-personal skills with a proven ability to influence at a senior level in the organization.
• Be interested in working in a fast paced, client facing commercial role.
• Previous experience working within the FMCG/Retail industry will be of distinct advantage.
• Full driving license.
