Job Description

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals.
• Manage and grow the customer base in the assigned sales territory.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer service and product offerings.
• Conduct market research to understand competitors and customers and market trends.
• Deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Monitor and report on sales performance analytics.
• Support National team
• Ensure company compliance strategy is upheld in stores
• Build brand advocacy with retailers through training, workshops etc
• Promote NPD and full product range
• Provide weekly reports with photographs on the stores
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
• Manage a team of Area of Managers
• Participate in trade shows, industry events and customer meetings as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Area Sales Manager' should have:

• Extensive experience in working with and understanding of beauty retailers or beauty brands
• Experience in trend analysis within customer base - across various channels including social media
• Good commercial accumen
• Sales and Marketing experience and examples of how driven sales performance
• Continuous improvement focus
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Exceptional product knowledge.
• Previous experience of People Management and successful coaching
• Experience with setting, managing and reporting KPIs and sales incentives
