Salary: €37,500 per annum

Location: Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:30 with 1 hour break

Purpose of role:

We are recruiting a for a Senior Presentations Services Operator for one of our Global Banking Clients. The role requires an individual who has Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word, and who is looking to further their experience in MS Office applications as well as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. The role requires the individual to work as part of a global creative team to provide solutions liaising closely with clients to produce presentations materials. To liaise with bankers in a professional, consultative and helpful manner at all times. To own and take responsibility for the work, in terms of the final product, e.g. consistency, deadline management, accuracy and quality in accordance with the Bank template and corporate guidelines. Take responsibility for the management of the document, within time and quality parameters, handling customer queries relating to these documents. To liaise directly with the Account Manager/Workflow Coordinator on a regular basis to give updates on workflow, deadlines and issues so that the client’s requirements can be effectively managed. Develop effective working relationships with clients and colleagues to promote a strong working team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of presentations services departmental processes
  • Accurately creating and amending presentations/documents in a timely manner and to corporate standards
  • Ensuring all work is quality checked/proofed to the highest standards and delivered right at the first time
  • Communicating effectively with Workflow Manager/Team Leader, Client and team, as appropriate, to help effectively manage operational needs and manage client expectations
  • To take ownership for the quality of your work and the associated deadlines
  • To use Engage/DBS Hub for job related duties accurately and effectively
  • To accurately estimate the production time and liaise with Account Manager/Workflow Coordinators to ensure deadline adherence
  • To share knowledge and encourage a supportive team culture
  • Taking a pro-active approach to attendance and time management
  • Deliver template and process training for new Presentations Service recruits
  • Maintaining compliance on all relevant H&S and FCA regulated material
  • Ensuring adherence of objectives and contractual obligations (Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators)
  • To act in a professional and consultative manner to all clients
  • To ensure a clear and comprehensive handover for any incoming staff

General tasks

  • Accurate and timely production of all Presentations materials
  • Ensure all work is quality checked before being returned to the client
  • Ensure complete submission of work to be randomly quality checked
  • Adherence of department policies and procedures
  • Reporting of any issues to relevant parties

Required Skills:

  • The candidate must have advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel. A working knowledge of graphics production and applications is also desired
  • Good Knowledge of complex chart creation and solving issues in Excel
  • Ability to work in PowerPoint master slides, working with themes and experience of creating PPT templates
  • Thinking of creative ways to display clients’ information on slides in engaging ways
  • Possess great attention to detail and a critical eye for accuracy, with a ‘right first time’ attitude
  • 3+ years’ experience of working in a corporate culture
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst under pressure
  • Must be able to work on their own initiative
  • Self-motivated, ability to think on the spot
  • Continual improvement mentality, open and receptive to feedback
  • Strong service mentality, commitment to service excellence is essential
  • Excellent communication skills in the English language, both verbal and written
  • Flexible attitude
  • Should be a quick learner, able to pick up skills relevant to the service needs
  • Determination to achieve results and being prepared to put in extra effort when required
  • Accountability for own results
  • Exposure to a shift environment would be beneficial
