Job Description - Director - Strategic Growth

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Linesight’s Strategic Growth Team as Director. This role will assist the strategic development and support of our Key Accounts which form a huge part of Linesight’s growing business. Linesight’s key accounts are predominantly in the Data Center and Life Sciences across APAC, Europe and the Americas. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for the company by working with some of the largest and most prestigious Data Center and Life Sciences companies in the world. As a Director at Linesight, you will lead and work with teams of highly experienced, culturally diverse, passionate individuals across our Data Centre, Life Sciences, and variable business sectors. Nurture a strong team social dynamic and shared sense of achievement, enhancing the Company’s belief that lasting, trusting relationships are everything, both in our teams and with our clients.

Experience in international key account management and pursuit management with a proven ability to drive engagement from key stakeholders and develop relationships with influencers is a must. Strong people and communication skills and an ability to work under tight turnaround times are also pre-requisites for this interesting and diverse role. An interest in changing the way we win work through structured key account programs would be advantageous.

Primarily focused on delivering client work the candidate should be capable of independently executing / completing all but the most complex tasks / analysis. Working with more senior staff when dealing with complex issues, larger clients, accounts, projects, analyses, or internal relationships. The candidate should apply acquired expertise to analyse and solve problems without clear precedent.

Client facing with a focus on business development, building networks internally and externally and delivering projects to often challenging timelines. The role requires an entrepreneurial, strategically minded relationship builder and problem solver.

The candidate will interact with Linesight personnel across the globe at all levels and will report to the Group Director, Strategic Growth.

C o r e Responsibilities:

  • Championing the key account program – helping create energy and connection around the clients we work with and sharing the success sto
  • D e v eloping initiatives to improve client experience, including client listening.
  • Working with regional teams to implement an integrated program, focused on best practice, service excellence and client experien
  • Support and motivate key client leads to achieve success, including management of the Key Account Client community.
  • Work closely with the team to develop and deliver accurate and timely reporting and analysis for the Key Accounts, identifying areas of underperformance and possible improvement actions.
  • Structuring and implementing a knowledge sharing platform with our client partn
  • D e v eloping external relationships within our Key Account
  • Assisting with, in conjunction with other department leads all bidding, sales and marketing content used to support Key Accounts ensuring consistency in messaging, branding and reporting to create a customized account-based experience at all times for our clients.
  • Stakeholder management across the Key Accounts and pre-empting support requirements to best service the needs of clients in acceptable timeframes.
  • P roviding advice on a strategic bidding development approach on Key Accounts working with the Key Account Sponsors, Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Regional Account Managers (RAMs) in region.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • +10 years’ proven experience in pursuit management and client management programs preferably from the AEC industry.
  • APMP qualification or Project Management qualification an advantage
  • High degree of skill in Adobe InDesign package.
  • Competent in both proposal management and construction industry-specific knowledge
  • Competent in Illustrator, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Visio and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to successfully and comfortably interface and actively coordinate with submission stakeholders
  • Energetic / positive outlook and commitment to working collaboratively as a team player is essential
  • Ability to translate complex concepts and ideas into clear communications
  • Be results driven and commercially aware with the ability to build effective relationships across the firm
  • Great organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail are essential
