Job Description - Associate Process Scientist

As an Associate Process Scientist you would support the Process Sciences Department with analysis, troubleshooting, and process validation of manufacturing bioprocesses. Note, this is a shift based position. It will involve extended days and evenings with occasional 24/7 support required. In this role a typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:
Providing on the floor MFG support
Coordinating samples from MFG for lab analysis
Coordinating and handling MFG Support trackers
Attending routine MFG and deviation meetings
Authoring Process Validation protocols and report
Performing product impact assessments
Data mining and retrieval for colleagues for quality investigations
Serving as liaison between Rensselaer and Raheen for Change Notification
Developing and writing protocols for manufacturing support activities
Presents findings at group and possibly at interdepartmental meetings
Participating in process and quality risk assessments
Assisting in troubleshooting activities associated with the manufacturing process
Supporting technology transfer activities as needed. Reviewing Manufacturing documentation associated with the transferred process
To be considered for this opportunity you should have a BS/BA in Life sciences/Engineering or related field.
