Bus Driver

Due to ongoing demand we are continuing recruit positions. About us - Rose Travel was established in 1994 and operates a range of vehicle types and services in the passenger transport sector, e.g. Chauffeur Drive, Mini Bus and Coach Tours. Our main depot is in Kerry. However we are recruiting for Driver Guides to conduct tours at the following locations departing from Dublin, Galway, Cork and Belfast. We are seeking candidates to join our Driver Guide (national) for the 2023 season. Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time positions available. Schedule: Varies - day shifts (weekdays/weekends), evenings, holidays, working away from home as required (multi-day tours) Salary: Competitive (Other: Expenses, Bank Holiday and Holiday-pay) Overnights: where applicable are pre-booked Locations: From Kerry Depot (other locations occasionally required) Requirements

• You must have a current manual D1 or D Class Driving Licence.
• You must be eligible to work in Ireland. You must have a driver CPC card and a Digital Tachograph Card. SPSV is not required but of benefit.

Key skills and responsibilities

• Driving Cars, SUVs, MPVs, Mini-Bus and Coaches.
• Ability to carry out daily walk around vehicle checks and complete check lists.
• Good communication and problem solving and as well as flexibility and adaptability.
• Customer service. (e.g. organising optional activities, picnics, walks and site visits)
• Aware of passenger safety and comfort at all times. Load and unload luggage.
• Develop and maintain the highest standards of passenger service. Provide feedback to improve the quality of the services.
• Initiative and problem solving skills to work seamlessly with colleagues, clients and passengers.
• Post service vehicle checks. Cleaning vehicle inside and out.
• Other duties: These may vary, and activities outside the role of driver would be optional.
