Finance ManagerMy client, a leading organisation in the heart of Munster, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their excellent finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated finance team and drive financial reporting and control processes.Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of all weekly/monthly/quarterly & annual period close activities in accordance with company procedures.
• Manage and develop the existing finance team to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring strict adherence to company reconciliation and payment policies.
• Maintain governance over all bank and cash transactions.
• Assist the finance team in producing accurate financial statements, including detailed gross margin analysis, P&L, and balance sheets.
• Take ownership of key accounting adjustments during quarterly close.
• Act as a liaison for the group with external parties such as suppliers, auditors, and debtors.
• Handle revenue reporting responsibilities, including VAT returns.
• Oversee group inter-company transactions to ensure proper recording.
• Maintain up-to-date KPIs on various expense headings across the group.
• Collaborate closely with P&L owners to ensure timely communication of accounting issues.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant with both practice and industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of delivering results to deadlines and driving continuous improvement.
• Proficient in various accounting systems, Excel, and cloud-based applications.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• A proactive problem solver who is not afraid to tackle issues head-on.
