Our client, a leading plastic manufacturer is seeking a HR Generalist in Co. Westmeath to join their global organisation. This job and company will allow the right candidate an opportunity to progress and develop their HR career.

This is a permanent position, working week Monday – Friday.

The HR Generalist will report directly to the HR Manager .

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Lead the recruitment process for indirect employees, also assisting with direct employee recruitment as needed.

• Take charge of employee onboarding.

• Facilitate performance management procedures, offering guidance and aid to Line Management/Supervisors as necessary.

• Provide support in handling grievance and disciplinary issues.

• Oversee employee benefit programs in collaboration with external vendors.

• Manage initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement.

• Compile and present HR metrics for weekly and monthly management meetings.

• Offer advice to managers on matters related to employee relations.

• Assist the management team in fostering and improving the organisational culture.

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of 3 years’ HR experience within a manufacturing environment.

• Possession of a 3rd level qualification in Human Resources or relevant.

• CIPD qualification is essential .

• Proficient in computer skills, particularly in MS Office and HRM system.

• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to work independently and communicate effectively.
