Job Description - Human Resources Manager

Our client is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team based in County Kildare. A background in the medical or social services division is required.

This person will be responsible for managing relationships with unions, investigating and resolving industrial relations issues, recruitment, retention, talent management, training and development, change management and succession planning.

Requirements:

  • Own transport - travel between branches required

  • Flexibility when it comes to working hours

  • Degree in Human Resources is essential

  • A clear ability to develop HR policy and plans in line with a national vision and direction

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures

  • In depth knowledge of employment legislations

  • Prior experience in Data Protection (GDPR) and Health and Safety requirements

  • Excellent written, presentational and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent diplomatic, influencing, persuading and negotiation skills

  • Ability to set own priorities, meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure
