Job Summary:

We’re looking for a seasoned proposal manager to complement our proposal team. The ideal candidate has led end-to- end, multi-faceted proposals.  You will be responsible for formatting and providing the first draft to the team. You will lead the kickoff meeting and consult with the team to direct them on schedule, structure of response, cover letter and executive summary structure, red flags and direct them other resources that will be able to assist. You will provide them with any necessary tools, such as compliance matrixes.

• Performance Objectives

• Works with sales teams to develop winning tender responses
• Captures all relevant information about opportunity from sales team
• Leads and facilitates strategy and win theme discussions, highlighting issues/red flags and how to best address them
• Works with account team to develop cover letter and executive summary structure
• Facilitates tender response logistics: kick off meetings, writing assignment, timeline/deadline, and document maintenance, and proposal delivery
• Ensures compliance to tender instructions including format and submission of final proposal
• Works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), as needed
• Closes out the opportunity and archives appropriate proposal documentation

Education

• Minimum 6-8 experience managing complex tenders in a commercial environment
• Hardware and software company experience highly desired
