QA/QC Engineer

An exciting opportunity for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our client, a leading engineering solutions company . This role will involve travel to various client sites as projects are completed nationwide but primarily can be based out of one of the offices in Cork, Limerick or Dublin . This role will be on a permanent contract and experience in Electrical or Civil Engineering would be preferred .

Role Requirements:

• The QA/QC Engineer will review and issue final handover packages to the clients.

• The QA/QC Engineer will collaborate with other contractors and request and inspect commissioning certification from them.

• The QA/QC Engineer will ensure compliance to regulatory standards throughout the installation and testing of the project.

• Liaise with the client on installation and quality matters.

• Carry out and report on project quality audits for compliance with procedures and processes.

• Facilitate quality training including induction and refresher training.

• Develop and Maintain the QMS ensuring fitness for purpose – propose amendments where necessary

• Create and maintain Quality Plans for projects.

• Coordinate and deliver quality toolbox talks and other communications (e.g. Quality Alerts).

• Develop, with Operations and Senior Management, Critical to Quality (CTQ) documentation to minimise the risk to business arising from defined critical activities.

• Co-ordinate and manage operations, engineering and procurement reviews of non-conformances (NCRs) to close out and report internally.

Role Requirements:

• Experience in a QA/QC Engineering role ideally within the Electrical, Civils or Infrastructure sectors.

• A recognised Quality qualification would be a distinct advantage.

• An Electrical qualification would be an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
