Our client a global manufacturer for the construction industry is seeking the talents of a Senior HSE Advisor to join their expanding team in Monaghan.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will support the business to achieve its HSE objectives through the delivery of HSE Plans – ensuring that the site is fully compliant, managers are proactive and team members engaged in achieving a culture of zero harm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with local Health, Safety and Environmental legislation as well as company
- policies and requirements.
- HSE Performance KPI reporting, environmental monitoring, and measurement.
- Lead HSE Steering meetings and Safety Committee Meetings.
- Assist in the Claims management process.
- Review HSE Risk Assessment, Policies, and Procedures regularly.
- Support on HSE and Continuous Improvement Projects.
- Carry out Accident/Incident investigations on-site and provide support to other
- investigations.
- Review of trends with Occupational health assessments and reports.
- Coach and Mentor Team Members on safe work practices
- Analyse site HSE trends; leading and lagging.
- Lead the site HSE policy development, strategic planning, Zero Harm, and HSE Roadmap
- development, address any compliance issues, and keep updated with current legislation.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 Years Experience in a similar role within a Manufacturing Environment.
- Relevant Third Level Qualification and IOSH Membership
- In depth knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental Legislation
- A good working knowledge of Risk Assessments, Developing Safety Statements, Chemical Agent Regulations, Accident and Dangerous Occurrence Reporting.
- Experience working with established systems including ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO14001, ISO9001
- Experience of coaching and mentoring.
- Strong Communication and People Skills.
- Self Motivated and Results Driven.
