An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive to join a leading law firm in Dublin (Hybrid working).

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role will be focused on driving and managing the Marketing and Business Development strategy, design, and development. This is a varied and interesting role, which will involve working with multiple lawyers and stakeholders, and a great opportunity to be involved in a dynamic team. The role encompasses all aspects of business development and marketing.

Your Role:

• Develop and implement Marketing and Business Development plans including client development, entertainment & hospitality programmes
• Project manage the full legal directory submissions process and report on results to shape future strategy
• Support the development and delivery of marketing and events programme aligned to the firm’s strategy including reporting performance through marketing dashboards
• Actively identify and build relationships with key industry associations, memberships and networks to enhance the profile and development of key relationships
• Source and identify suitable media and recognition awards opportunities
• Develop and drive content to build the profile and enhance the firm’s reputation through effective use of all communication channels and digital marketing
• Develop and maintain a content management system for firm messaging, niche specialisms, credential materials and marketing activity that reinforces each service line unique value proposition
• Conduct market research and analysis as required
• Support the firm’s client relationship management / referral programme and activities
• Liaise with external partners and suppliers including web developers, graphic designer, printers and advertising media
• Support the group training function as required with the development and delivery of Marketing and BD training modules.

Your Skills:

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of client-centric marketing communications, digital and social media, PR, print and design, advertising as well as events and business development experience.
The role requires an enthusiastic self-starter who is willing to learn, contribute ideas and interact positively with people at all levels within the firm.

Key competencies include:

• 3-5 years’ marketing/ business development experience (preferably professional services and degree qualified).
• Excellent written abilities with strong attention to detail, editing and proof-reading skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the firm.
• Flexible and resourceful team player with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise workloads in line with changing demands.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to meet, and guide teams towards, tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and the ability to take ownerships of key projects with minimum supervision.
• Proactive approach to innovation, identifying new business opportunities and generating new ideas.
• A good understanding of the marketing & communication process with a strong focus on quality.
• Proficiency in MS Office, web, social media e-platforms (Adobe InDesign is desirable but not essential).
