A global SaaS organization is seeking a Technical Support Engineer – UX to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is committed to providing amazing customer support experiences and possesses excellent communication skills.

Contract: temporary agency worker (PAYE)
Duration: 11-months , with potential for extension
Work mode: onsite in Dublin 2
Salary: up to 48k eur (yearly)
VISA Sponsorship:  not available , candidates must hold a valid VISA

Role overview
The Technical Support Engineer – UX will be responsible for resolving technical cases created by customers looking for help to understand or troubleshoot unexpected behaviors or to answer technical questions about the ServiceNow software and platform.

The successful candidate will employ various diagnostic tools to isolate the potential cause of the issue and will be expected to diligently manage and resolve challenging issues assigned to them. In addition, the support engineer will coordinate assistance from additional teams for more complex cases.

Must Have Skills

  • 3+ years of UI development (JavaScript) or application support experience, resolving complex issues and escalations
  • Experience in two (or more) of the following: CSS, AJAX, ReactJS, GraphQL, AngularJS, Mobile application development
  • Reading and debugging Java and JavaScript code (Writing JavaScripts will be beneficial)
  • Troubleshooting experience using browser developer tools
  • Experience with scripting (JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell or Windows Shell)
  • Experience using Linux/Unix OR Microsoft Server
  • Good experience writing or debugging Object Oriented code (Java preferred, other relevant technologies ok)
