Job Description Summary
The Program
Par Health offers an 11-week internship programme designed to provide an immersive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Par Health intern, you’ll have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study. This program allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world corporate setting while building valuable connections through networking opportunities across the organisation.
Summary of Position
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Summer Intern to join the Par Health Dublin Technical Operations team, supporting the Drug Product and Packaging group.
Par Health’s Summer Internship Programme provides the opportunity to work with passionate problem-solvers on meaningful, hands on assignments, while learning from experienced colleagues across the organisation. Interns will gain exposure to sterile drug product manufacturing, third party operations (CMOs/CPOs), cross-functional collaboration, and typical Technical Operations activities.
The role’s core assignment will be project based, leading the development of a technology transfer traceability matrix covering multiple product types and presentations, that will deliver real value to Par Health.
Alongside the assigned project, the role will support day to day Technical Operations activities and gain experience in areas such as risk assessments, data analysis, technical investigations, technical documentation, process optimisation, and problem-solving.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the assigned primary project;
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members and SMEs across Technical Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and with external partners (CMOs/CPOs);
- Support daily Technical Operations tasks, including reviewing technical documents, contributing to investigations, change controls, deviations, CAPAs, and tech transfer documentation;
- Participate in Technical Operations activities such as process mapping, risk assessments, data analysis, and Lean Six Sigma initiatives;
- Present project progress and final outcomes to senior management.
Minimum Requirements
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in one of the following or related fields: Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and organise technical information;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Detail‑oriented with strong organisational abilities.

- Motivated self‑starter who can operate both independently and collaboratively;
- Proactive, curious, and willing to engage in problem‑solving;
- Demonstrated interest in pharmaceutical operations, sterile manufacturing, technology transfer, or process improvement.
