Internship Programme 2026

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in one of Ireland’s largest and most progressive law firms? At Byrne Wallace Shields LLP, we believe in nurturing the next generation of legal talent. 

Our Internship Programme is designed to provide you with a comprehensive insight into the practice of law, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world legal issues.

During the programme, you will work within one of our core practice areas and will experience first-hand the role and responsibilities of a trainee solicitor. You will work alongside our top class legal professionals, gain exposure to interesting and challenging legal and business issues, participate in a tailored learning programme, and have an opportunity to get involved in our sports and social activities.

Each June we host our Internship Programme for 6 weeks, where we welcome final year undergraduates and postgraduates from all areas of study, and who are on course for a 2:1 or higher,  as well as applicants with some or all FE1’s.
