We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Actuarial Intern based in Dublin to join our dynamic team and gain invaluable Solvency II experience in the Life Actuarial Function.

This is a hybrid role. The successful candidate will benefit from excellent mentorship, training and networking opportunities.

In this role you will support the Irish Legal Entity and Group oversight of Solvency II activities for our Life & Health business.

As part of the Life Actuarial Function you will be involved in a variety of actuarial activities including:

• Supporting the Solvency II quarterly process ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner for PartnerRe’s Composite Irish Legal Entity (PRESE) and Group. This involves supporting the:
• Review and analysis of the quarterly SII Life Technical Provisions and SCR liaising closely with the various stakeholders including the Central Risk Function, 1st Line Life Reserving team and External Reporting
• Production of the detailed quarterly packs to the PRESE Reserving and Capital Committee and Board
• Production of annual opinions on Solvency II Technical Provisions, Underwriting, Retrocession/Reinsurance and the ORSA;
• Internal, external audit and peer review activities
• Inputs to various committees including the quarterly Life Data Quality Committee
• Maintaining Actuarial Function documentation of key processes, procedures, and results
• Supporting the continued enhancement of the SII Control Framework
• Supporting in depth reviews of 1st line reserving model
• Finally, you will support the team in its work for exciting ad hoc projects
