Trainee Tax Advisor

Established in 1973, with headquarters in Cork and 40+ office locations nationwide, we offer a range of Accounting, Taxation, Agri-Consultancy, Financial and Business Advisory to a diversified portfolio of 30,000 + clients. 

We are seeking to recruit a Trainee Tax Advisor to join our team. The position will be based in the Kerry region. 

Assisting and supporting our team in the following areas: 

• the preparation and filing of tax returns 

• Preparation of notes on client interactions and keeping files up to date 

• Review, research, and interpretation of tax legislation, Revenue guidance, and published papers 

• Recording data and spreadsheet analysis of tax outcomes 

• Preparation of taxation plans and responding to client queries 

• Interacting with clients on a daily basis 

Candidate Profile 

• Hold an Honours Primary Degree (ideally in a business discipline) and are interested in a career in Taxation 

• Want to pursue the Irish Tax Institute exams 

• Interested in a rewarding long-term career with one of the most established groups in rural Ireland 

• Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail 

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, confident, and self-starting 

• Flexible and well-organised 

• Natural team player, comfortable working closely in a team environment
