Unpaid Internship - IT Infrastructure Support

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Support Intern to assist our IT team in maintaining and improving our technical environment. This internship offers hands-on experience in IT asset management, troubleshooting, and system improvements while collaborating with different departments.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Inventory Management & Equipment Labeling

• Map and document existing IT inventory (both registered and unregistered).


• Register new IT assets and update existing records.


• Label and organize all IT equipment for easy identification.

🔹 Resale & Disposal of IT Equipment

• Research potential resellers and market opportunities for outdated or surplus equipment.


• Propose sales options and execute transactions as needed.

🔹 Software Research & Implementation

• Research available software solutions for internal IT needs.


• Discuss findings with the IT Manager and create a backlog of potential tools.


• Design and propose action plans with multiple solutions.


• Collaborate with area managers and teams for approval (especially if costs are involved).


• Implement, test, monitor, and adjust new solutions as required.

🔹 IT Support & Troubleshooting

• Monitor and respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner.


• Diagnose and resolve software issues.


• Assist with hardware setup, installation, and maintenance.


• Document solutions for recurring issues in the IT knowledge base.


• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
