Accountant

Job Description:

LetsGetChecked is seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team in Waterford, Munster, Ireland. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. This position is ideal for a dedicated and hardworking individual with at least 2 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain financial records - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Analyze financial data and provide insights to management - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards - Provide support during audits and tax filings - Collaborate with other departments to achieve financial goals - Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or equivalent certification preferred - 2+ years of experience in accounting - Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Negotiation and people management skills
